A new face in the techno scene, Esker comes from a background of noise and experimental music, having played as a drummer and guitarist in several bands in Melbourne. This is reflected in her sound – relentlessly marching beats and austere drones are interspersed with field recordings and vocal snippets processed beyond recognition.
After an appearance on the »VOITAX X« compilation, Esker went on to release her debut 12” EP with VOITAX. Entitled »Destruction Time Again«, her unique take on techno has earned the support of some of the best names in techno right now.
